Wanted to get a day bed for the living room as each one of us in the house tends to fall asleep in there. I have yet to sleep on or hear of a person that has actually slept on a sleeper couch gotten a comfortable night of sleep. Saw this as it looks like an oversized couch perfect for the living room. Upholstered daybeds look much more like couches than the thin metal frame daybeds which have become very affordable on amazon.

And the piece is pricey to start with. The sides are not the skinny thin sides. Assembly by handy is also grossly overpriced the piece also looks like a cheap sofa bed rather than a decorative daybed. A daybed offers lots of sleeping space in a small footprint in guest rooms and kids rooms especially when it includes a slide out second bed.

The picture shows a bed on the daybed but in reality you have to purchase that separately except they don t disclose that fact anywhere in the description. I had wrap around couches that just were not comfortable plus needed to be replaced. The thick padding not only offers extra cushioning on the back and armrests but the backrest ios also slanted more like a couch s backrest giving you a more comfortable seating experience.
