Darkness into light is a fundraising walk that takes place every year to promote suicide awareness and raise much needed funds for pieta house a charity that provides free supports for people who are contemplating suicide have attempted suicide or have. Four hundred people set off for the inaugural 5km walk and from small beginnings the movement has grown to over 220 000 people walking in over 150 locations in 16 countries across 5 continents in 2019.
