Converting table saw to 220.
I am wondering assuming i have my choice of plugin s in a shop is one better than the other.
When you purchase a new appliance or standing tool containing a dual voltage electric motor it comes prewired for either 110 or 220 volt service.
The motor is capable of 220 volt operation and a diagram on the motor cover shows the wiring diagram to convert it.
Can i use the existing 110 volt wiring and on off switch on the saw to carry 220 volt load.
Can some one please provide step by step instructions so that i can get this done.
